Meet Our Team: Salsa, TRIA’s Beloved Office Mascot

At TRIA (The Robson Insurance Agency), our team isn’t complete without the wagging tail and contagious joy of Salsa, our official office mascot. His story is one of resilience, hope, and second chances—one that reminds us why compassion and community are at the heart of everything we do.

Salsa’s journey began far from Bend, Oregon, on the streets of Mexico, where he was found injured and struggling. A kind-hearted couple discovered him with a severely infected bite wound and brought him to a veterinarian for lifesaving treatment. After his initial care, Salsa was transferred to a local animal rescue shelter. However, his health continued to decline, and it became clear he needed more help.

Through the efforts of dedicated rescuers, a flight was coordinated to bring him to the Humane Society of Central Oregon (HSCO) in Bend. That’s when fate stepped in. Scott Robson, TRIA’s owner, came across Salsa’s photo in a local newspaper where he was featured as the “Pet of the Week.” Moved by his story, Scott arranged a meet-and-greet with his dog Angus. The two dogs hit it off, and it didn’t take long for Scott to realize Salsa was meant to join his family.

Now affectionately known as Salsa, this once-struggling pup is thriving in his forever home. Not only does he enjoy a life full of love and care, but he’s also a constant source of joy at TRIA. Whether greeting clients, lounging in the office, or reminding us all to take a break for some tail-wagging fun, Salsa embodies the spirit of resilience and connection.

Salsa’s story reminds us of the profound impact compassion can have, and we’re proud to support local organizations like the Humane Society of Central Oregon. They work tirelessly to give animals like Salsa a second chance at life.
